About Us

We are a family of 5 from Boston, MA, USA and we always had this idea of living in a Chateau at the back of our heads but it was always mostly a far fetched dream. Then the pandemic came and we started to think about it more and more, and finally decided to pick up the phone and call a real estate broker in France, and the rest is history. In a matter of 1 year we moved to France, without ever traveling there for most of us, or speaking French. Yes, the bread, cheese or baguettes don't disappoint over there, but it was rather a bold move leaving our beloved Boston and trying to fit into a countryside living. We did not take the traditional way of finding a property by traveling and looking at properties for sale. Instead, we picked a beautiful Chateau that stood out on a website and went with our feelings. Fortunately, it was a great decision and we are in awe over its beauty every day. We did underestimate the project though by quite a bit. And its been a fun, adventurous and challenging journey for all of us. Chances are high that you will see us during your stay working on a number of different things. But we wouldn't want it any other way.
